Tarney started Geelong Ophthalmology in 2007 after completing his training through the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, followed by an Oculoplastic fellowship in the UK. This fellowship involved advanced training in management of periocular cancers and eyelid repair from degenerative conditions, along with advanced cataract surgery. He has a specific interest in Oculoplastic and Cataract surgery, and is more than happy to manage any other general ophthalmic conditions as well. Our rooms are set up with a procedure room specifically to manage minor procedures and intra-ocular injections for wet AMD and Anti-VEGF agents. He operates through St John of God and Epworth Private Hospitals.
